Slow and Steady Work

Where are we in the process of turning the house-next-door into a library? We are steadily inching toward the goal. We are sanding the walls, ceilings, and even some floors in preparation for painting.

We are collecting donations and sorting books that were donated specifically to sell and help us finance the project. If we had hired this work done, the library would be open. But, we’re doing the work ourselves with the help of volunteers. I am glad for that. It is the best kind of homeschool project. That, being focused attention on a singular goal and each of us contributing.

It is encouraging to have people donate and order books. Perhaps you would like to order a copy of YOUR FAVORITE BOOK FROM CHILDHOOD. That would be cool to have!

Also, we could use your prayers for joy in the process, for motivation, for consistency, and that we would be focused on the love of Christ in serving our community.
